Role Play Engineer Module : Behavioral Engagement in BMFA 4223 Industrial Automation

Overall, this course contains fundamental theoretical knowledge compared to calculation-based. Hence, I applied Collaborative Learning where students will learn each chapters in this course by team collaborative in searching the information based on notes given, internet, articles, reports and etc. This module also promote Behavioral Engagement as at the end of this module, student will discuss the topics and learn to find the information and knowledge in correct way. This strategy enhance student understanding and appreciate the knowledge. The module is named as Role Play Engineer.

Engagement Framework in Asynchronous Teaching and Learning for BMFA 3313 Control System

Due to  pandemic situation, traditional way of teaching Control System with explaining the example of calculation related in whiteboard through face-to-face learning cannot be done with online learning. Furthermore, student's understanding and engagement during synchronous learning for a longer period incurred large internet data for a student.

Based on 3-part taxonomy of instructional technology model ; Explore, Explain and Design; and Anderson's Online Learning Model , a multimodal model of online learning has been introduced (refer to this link).

Hence, I implemented multimodal model in this course. There are 2 category of teaching method which are Synchronous and Asynchronous Learning. I divided topics covered in this course into this categories accordingly based on difficulty.
